What we offer

Here at Brighter Care Agency we understand that taking the step to have people to care for you or your family member is not easy, and we ensure that we support and guide you every step of the way.

We know that care and support is individual to each and every one of our clients and so we will conduct a thorough assessment and get to know you well from the very beginning, ensuring that everything is tailored to you.

We aim to support and help as many people as we can and in an effort to do so we offer a wide variety of services. Please see some examples of the main care and support services we offer, but please remember that this is not exhaustive, so if you feel that your need is different from what is detailed below, then please do still get in touch as there may well be something that we can do to support you.

We know that individuals needs often increase over time. Therefore, you or your loved one may find yourselves needing additional support, managing any short or long term health conditions to enable you to stay as independent as possible. We can offer additional and specialised care to support you with the following:

  • Management of medication
  • Daily routine and personal care including washing and dressing
  • Fluid, nutrition and weight monitoring
  • Overall support to manage a long term or chronic condition

Sometimes all we need to live independently is a little companionship. At Brighter Care, our highly trained carers are here to help you remain an active member of your family or even your community. We can also help you to keep those very important social connections with those you love and care about.

Our companionship service covers a wide range of activities for you or your love ones and these may include:

  • Wellbeing companionship and conversation
  • To assist with your weekly shopping and other tasks
  • Preparing, cooking and having meals with you
  • Joining in with your  favourite hobbies
  • Help with general domestic tasks (cleaning, laundry etc.)
  • Help with travel arrangements, getting around to access the community and any community groups that you attend
  • Arranging and accompanying you to and from appointments
  • Working with you to plan outings and visits

 Care at Home

In addition, we can assist you with information and signposting to other community services, that may be able to help offer you additional support with the management of your condition. We can also attend appointments and reviews with you when meeting other organisations and professional bodies involved in your care provision, so we can support you every step of the way.

Specialist Dementia Care

A change in lifestyle, health or environment can be very daunting for any of us, but can be even more challenging for someone living with a dementia diagnosis.

At Brighter Care we can support you or your family member to stay in their much loved homes for as long as possible. Importantly, all of our staff are trained in dementia support and understand the importance of you keeping your identity and not being defined by a diagnosis.

Your support will be tailored to your individual needs, as we understand all too well that dementia affects everyone’s lives differently and that there is no one size fits all.

We are proud to work closely with people within the community who are living with dementia, the feedback we have had from clients and their families has been great, meaning our dementia service is going from strength to strength.

Palliative and End of Life Care

It goes without saying that having a terminal diagnosis or having to plan for the end of your life, can be the most difficult times of all. It is because of this that we put all of our passion, energy and expertise into giving you the upmost dignity, respect and best quality of life possible right until the end. Your wishes during this difficult time could not be more important, so we ensure a thorough assessment and regular review of care to closely monitor your ever changing needs.
